Robert Arnold Janicker Obituary
We announce the death of Robert Arnold Janicker of Wappingers Falls, New York, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 94. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Robert will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Robert will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Robert’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold and Barbara Janicker (Dohn); his spouse Lynn Ruth Benintende; his daughter Robbi Lynn Janicker; and his sister Joan Perry.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Capone (Steven) of Poughkeepsie and Arnold Janicker (Amber) of West Virginia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mother of the Church (106 Jackson St, Fishkill, NY 12524). An entombment will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery (801 US-9, Fishkill, NY 12524).
