She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Weekes and Herbert Weekes, Sr.; her husband Michael A. Callender, Sr.; her son Charles F. Caines, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah Jackson-Pratt and Jayden Jackson.
She is survived by: her son Michael A. Callender, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Sylvan Callender; her daughter Terri L. Davidson; her son-in-law Willie Davidson; her grandchildren, Charles Caines III, Sean Caines, Toshinna Callender, Shane Smith Caines, Davinia Starkey, Davante Johnson, Matai Callender and Briana Callender; and her godchildren, Dorisa Walker and Keith Paul. She is also survived by grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She bravely overcame Multiple Myeloma, survived COVID-19 three times, and was diagnosed with Dementia in 2021.
