As Diana departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Diana. Though Diana may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Batsford and Robert Batsford; her husband Dana; and her close friend Ray "Lew" Banzhof. She is survived by: her siblings, James Batsford (Maribeth) and Barbara Griffin (Lee); and her children, Philip Poyer, Robert Poyer (Meghan) and Jennie Pharoah (Joseph). She is also survived by five grandchildren and step grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home (23 South St, Trumansburg, NY 14886).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation may be made in her name to the church where she had found hope and community, St. Cecelia's Church, 3802 Main St. Warrensburg, NY 12885.
