He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kellogg and Anna Kellogg; his wife Evelyn (Waterston); his brother Bernard; and his grandson Jason.
He is survived by: his children, David (Amy), Patrick (Dianna), Michael (Amy), Jeffrey (Deborah), Valerie (Frank) and Scott (Marianne); his grandchildren, Christopher, Benjamin, Brian, Eric (Jenn), Morgan (Sarah), Sarah (Christopher), Molly, Jessica (Michael), Jill (Sean), Emily, Amanda, Peter and Sam; and his brother Leo (Diane). He is also survived by several great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Because John loved the North Country and always strived to help others, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, friends wishing to honor John send a donation to The North Country Hardship Fund.
