She is survived by: her husband Terry; her children, Lori Melnick and Stephen Melnick; her stepdaughter Ashley Sherman; her grandchildren, Devin Fitzpatrick, Emily Veach (Jesse), Tessa Sherman and Jacob Sherman; her sister Linda Thomas; and her friends, Karen Brown and Eileen Holland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Home, Inc. (3809 Main St, Warrensburg, NY 12885). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Band Stand Brew Works.
