He was predeceased by : his parents, Rodney Kent and Catherine McCaig Kent; his wife Caroline Alleger; and his brothers, Arthur Kent and Oscar Kent.
He is survived by : his children, Alton Kent (Dawn Murphy) of Jasper and Lanita Pajda (Tim) of Attica; and his grandchildren, Katherine Kent Roy (Nate), Dylan Kent, John Michael Kent, Jacob Kent, Joshua Kent, Allison Pajda and Cassidy Pajda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
