She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Gebel and Irene Gebel; her husband Leo Paul Lefort; her siblings, Bernadine Campbell (William), Annabelle Bartz (Ferdinand), Mary Agnes McCormick (Robert), Ethel Palmeri (Frank), Viola Glaus (Ernest), Irene Glaus (Joseph), Francis Gebel (Mary) and Kenneth Gebel (Cecilia); and her sister-in-law Mary Esther Hulton (James).
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Valento (Bernie) of Delevan, Melissa Kehl of Strykersville and Baron Lefort of Strykersville; her grandchildren, Dr. Jonathan Rabey (Melissa) of Rochester, Jordan Rabey (Jackie) of East Aurora, Alexander Rabey (Alexandra) of East Aurora, Lydia Praller (Travis) of Brockport, Whitney Chamberlain (John) of Kenmore, Madeline Kehl of Strykersville, Jonathan Valento (Becky) of Buffalo, Elizabeth Bender (Justin) of Churchville and Christian Valento of Batavia; her great grandchildren, Olive, Forrest, Jude, Leo, Miles, Wren, Tage, Chester, Graham, Noah, Owen and Nora; and her sisters-in-law, Rita Lefort and Donna Ellis (Louis). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Neumann Parish (991 Centerline Rd, Strykersville, NY 14145). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
