He is survived by: his children, David Mayer (Cheryl), Susan Harcleroad (Robert), John Mayer (Marcia), Peter Mayer (Joan), Sandra King (Robert), Patrick Mayer (Melissa) and Lucinda Mayer; and his sister-in-law Beverly Scritchfield. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
