Kathy P. Mobus Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Kirkpatrick (Masterson) and George Kirkpatrick; her husband Joseph E. Mobus; and her brother David G. Kirkpatrick. She is survived by: her children, David Mobus of Goshen and Lisa (Joseph Zaro); her grandsons, Joseph and Anthony of Campbell Hall, NY; her sisters-in-law, Mary Lowenheim of San Diego, CA and Nancy Hunter of Bel Aire, KS; her niece Michelle Pisack of South Plainfield, NJ; her great-nephew Scott Burdash (Buddy) of Parlin, NJ; and her grandpup Henny. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial (17 Oakland Ave, Warwick, NY 10990). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Kathy's memory to one of two causes close to her heart: Bleu's K9 Rescue, which supports dogs in need of homes and promotes responsible pet ownership (BleusK9rescue.org), or Project My Day, Inc., which supports children in foster care (ProjectMyDayinc.org).
