The family announces the passing of Laté F. Lawson of Warwick, New York on September 21, 2026. Laté was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Laté will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Laté by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Laté is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Laté’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Isidore Lawson and Comfort Lawson; his wife Sika; and his sons, Christopher A. Lawson (Alannah Lejeune) of Astoria, NY and Alex M. Lawson of Warwick, NY. He was also cherished by his three sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial (17 Oakland Ave, Warwick, NY 10990). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
