She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Cabrera and Sylvia Cabrera. She is survived by: her husband Robert Sadowski; her children, Steven Dergosits, Lauren Schaefer (Gregg), Daniel Sadowski (Jessica Pantalemon) and Kimberly Naclerio (Anthony); her grandchildren, Gregory Jr., Lisette Schaefer, Nora and Victoria Naclerio; and her brother Carlos Cabrera. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mabel's honor to the American Cancer Society.
