It is with sadness that the passing of Michael James McKiernan (Washingtonville, New York) is shared. Michael, born on September 19, 1959 in Astoria, New York, passed away on September 21, 2026. Michael will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Michael by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Michael is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Michael’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William (Nora McKiernan) and Irish. He is survived by: his son Scout; his wife Christine; his children, Yuri and Jeffrey (Jordan); his grandson Quinn; and his siblings, Billy and Carmel. He is also survived by children, along with the many family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home (20 North St, Washingtonville, NY 10992).
