Elizabeth Derrick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Derrick (Waterford, New York), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Fernet and Charlotte D'Aurio Fernet; her siblings, Frank, Harry, George, Ernie, Lorraine, Jean and Marion; and her pet Ivy.
She is survived by: her husband Irvin L. Derrick; her children, Diane King (Wayne) of Troy, Philip L. Derrick (late Lisa) of Waterford, Steven G. Derrick (Monique) of Waterford, Sheila L. Wichelns (James) of Lancaster, SC, Gail E. Muller (Joseph) of Glenville, Alison M. Lyons (Paul) of Waterford and Matthew C. Derrick (Jamie) of Youngstown, Ohio.; and her friend Patricia Nolan. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home (133 Broad St, Waterford, NY 12188). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
