He was predeceased by : his parents, John G. Cheney and Elsie J. Sanders Cheney; and his daughter Janice Marie Cheney. He is survived by : his wife Alice Valiquette Cheney; his children, Kimberly Schechter (Lee) of Manchester, NJ, Craig J. Cheney (Debbie) of Waterford, J. Kevin Cheney of Portland, ME and Mark Cheney (Lisa) of Loudonville; his grandchildren, Joseph Cheney, David Cheney (Betty Ann Napoli), Steven Cheney, Megan Cheney, Nicolas Schechter (Tracy), Max Schechter and Lucien Cheney; his great grandchildren, Leona, Amelia, Wyatt and Chloe; and his great great grandchild Lyra.
