It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Hurst (Waterford, New York), who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Miorin and Elizabeth Cunningham Miorin; her spouse Hurst; and her sister Barbara Plummer (late Kermit). She is survived by: her children, Laurie Huneau (Ed) and Lisa McInerney (late Paul) of Waterford; her siblings, June Sanderson (late Robert) of Melrose, William Miorin (Becky) of Scotia, John Miorin of Albany, Jane Bernacki (late Mike) of Waterford, Susan Bowen (James) of Saratoga Springs and Sharon Sheehan (late Mark) of Waterford; her grandchildren, Jeremy Huneau (Amy), Derek Huneau (Nicole), Jenna Huneau (Derek Bell), Lauren Pells, Gabrielle McInerney and Mickellen McInerney; and her great grandchildren, Ben, Julia, Joseph, Matthew, Jaxson and Carter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home (133 Broad St, Waterford, NY 12188). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
