He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Franklin and Mildred Martin Franklin; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Fletcher Franklin; his children, Kelly Ann Knowles of Troy, Scott Franklin (Kim) of Troy, Sandra Franklin of Troy and Kathleen Wagar (Gordon) of Troy; his siblings, Arthur Franklin (Jean) of Sand Lake, William Franklin of Vermont, John Franklin and Beverly Lanteing; his grandchildren, Andrew Wagar, Kyle Franklin (Kaela), Rodney Branch, Christoper Franklin, Jen Cahill and Matt Knowles; and his great grandchild Kiernan Franklin.
