He is survived by: his wife Shirley Heusinger of Port Gibson; his son Irvin Young Jr. of Waterloo; his stepdaughter Bonnie Sutton (Glenn) of Newark; and his siblings, Elkannah "Bud" Young (Cathy) of Phelps and Ethel Graham of Palmyra. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, Nieces and nephews.
