Lester VanGelder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester VanGelder of Waterloo, New York, who passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lester shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lester farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles VanGelder and Thelma Moses VanGelder; and his daughter MaryJo VanGelder. He is survived by: his wife Melody; and his children, Lester "Laddy" VanGelder (Russell) of Seattle, WA, William VanGelder (Tammy) of Prattsburg, NY, Robert VanGelder and Tina VanGelder. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
