He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Blackburn and Joanne Blackburn (Gorey); his siblings, Reynolds Blackburn, Carole Blackburn and Mary Jo Scheppner; and his brother-in-law Charles Scheppner.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Blackburn; his children, Robert Blackburn (Jade Chiu), Andrew Blackburn, Elizabeth Collins (Dean) and Matthew Blackburn (Sandy); his grandchildren, Faith Arcidino, Anna Blackburn (Connor Corneil), Amanda Torsell (John), Emily Arcidino, Erica Blackburn, Vincent Arcidino and Logan Blackburn; his great grandchildren, Vincent Arcidino (Vinny), Marigold Torsell and Ian Arcidino; and his sister-in-law Sally McNamara Blackburn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home (21 West Ave, Albion, NY 14411). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (106 S Main St, Albion, NY 14411). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the St. Joseph's Cemetery.
