It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly O. Phelps (Watertown, New York), who passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Beverly departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Beverly may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Beverly leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Oberton and Anna Laura Oberton (Steele). She is survived by: her daughters, Lucinda Riches (Joseph) and Janice Phelps; her grandchildren, Desire'Finn, Joellen Trainham, Jason Riches, Alex Clement and Kayle Orum; and her sister Judy Young. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
