He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Tousant and Beatrice Tousant (Lester); his wife Lois Failing; his son Craig Tousant; his great grandchild Crystal Cooksey; and his brother Clifford Tousant.

He is survived by: his children, Bryan Tousant (Vick) and Diane McConnell; his daughter-in-law Laura Tousant; and his brother Charles Tousant. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
