He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin R. Goodwin and Eleanor R. Goodwin (Emerson); his spouse Shirley Jean Borland; his siblings, Lyle E. Goodwin and Carolyn E. Brown; his brother-in-law Harold Brown; and his son-in-law Albert Cubiotti.
He is survived by: his children, Susan K. Goodwin of Rochester and Robert L. "Bob" Goodwin, Sr. of Henderson; and his grandchildren, Robert L. "Bob" Goodwin, Jr. (Katie) of Batavia, Elizabeth A. "Beth" Goodwin (Derek Lane) of Barnes Corners, NY, Hannah K. Goodwin (Cody Kaestle) of Charlotte, NC and Joshua C. Goodwin of Henderson. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home (632 State St, Watertown, NY 13601-2839). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
