He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard C. Nevin and Catherine Nevin (Bernier); his wife Ruth; his brothers, John and David Nevin; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth and Billie Nevin.
He is survived by: his children, Charles L. Nevin (Bridget Whalen-Nevin), Lisa N. Hackett (Sean) of Baltimore, MD, Andrew R. Nevin (Shannon) and Amy N. Forgit (Joseph); his grandchildren, Michael, Colin, Maggie, Chloe, Arthur, Shaelin, Samuel, Andrew and David; his great grandchildren, Bella, River, August, James and Lyra; his brothers, Stephen Nevin and James Nevin; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Nevin and Dorothy Abbott of Williamsburg, VA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cummings Funeral Service, Inc. (214 Sterling St, Watertown, NY 13601). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (129 Winthrop St, Watertown, NY 13601). A burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Brookside Cemetery (22527 Cook Rd, Watertown, NY 13601).
