He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Kirby and Mary Kirby (Hood); and his siblings, Thomas, Robert, David, Michael Kirby, Cynthia Cowart and Kathleen Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Hyde of Watertown; his wife Mary E. Kirby; his daughter Jennifer N. Hatch of Liverpool, NY; his grandsons, Thomas and Andrew Hatch; his siblings, Lawrence Kirby of Chazy, NY and Rosemary Babcock of Portland, ME; his niece Mary Kirby of Watertown, NY; his nephew John Fitzgerald of Watertown, NY; and his pet Darby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
