She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Dodie and Gertrude Baker Helmer Sr. Dodie; her husband Walter Hyde; her daughter Debra Ann Hyde; her grandson Destin Nelson; her great grandchild Brinley Gerstenschlager; her son-in-law Joseph Gerstenschlager; and her siblings, Jeanette Baughman, Maurice Helmer Jr. and Donald Helmer.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Hyde of Watertown, NY, Cheryl Mahan of Watertown, NY, Dawn Gerstenschlager of Glen Park, NY and Crystal Nelson (Vincent) of Watertown, NY.; and her sisters, Bonnie Freeman of North Carolina and Flora Corey of Watertown, NY. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
