In the vast expanse of eternity, Douglas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Douglas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Ward and Carmen Ward (Dodge); and his wife Marianne C. Ward. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy A.; his son-in-law Thomas Adams of Cape Vincent, NY; his sons, Timothy A. (Rosa Ward) and Stephen A. Ward of Lewisburg, OH; and his stepdaughter Cynthia L. (Brien Spooner) of Dexter, NY. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
