Emery W. Shaw Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emery W. Shaw of Watertown, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shaw and Marjorie Shaw (Knight); his wife Ruth Cleary; and his brother Gary Shaw. He is survived by: his children, Melinda Shaw-Robbins (Carl), Tami (Jim Bovard) and Greg; his daughter-in-law Theresa LaPlatney of Florida; his grandchildren, Christine McGuane (Joshua), Courtney Robbins, Lindsey Chipp (Jeremy), Rachel Lotman (Chance), Dustin Bovard (Ashley), Miki-Rai Bovard (McKenna), Samantha LaPlatney and Matthew LaPlatney; and his sister Linda Shaw of Adams Center, NY. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
