He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Allen Mills and Muriel Elizabeth Desormeau Mills; his wife Sandra Renshaw; his children, Alice A. (Jon) and Andrew G. (Patty); his stepdaughter Renee Stano (John) of Dexter, NY; his grandchildren, Douglas Stano (Pamela) and Syracuse (Melanie Stano); his siblings, Robert (Izzy), Charles Mills and Arlene Mills; and his brother-in-law James Signor. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to Barben-Jones VFW Post 1400 or Watertown American Legion Post 61.
