He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Yerdon and Eleanor Yerdon (Towles); his daughter Jaclyn Yerdon; his siblings, Jim, Melvin Yerdon, Brenda Johnson and Sandy Still; and his siblings-in-law, David Davenport, Roy Evans, Larry Still and Sukey Yerdon.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Jody (Rebecca Yerdon); his daughter Christy; his son-in-law Matthew Vance of Watertown, NY; his grandchildren, Emmett, Isaac Yerdon, Colton and Zoey Vance; and his sisters, Norma Davenport of Illinois, Melva Evans of Indiana and Linda (Tom Farr). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory may be made to the Jefferson County SPCA.
