He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin O'Brien and Mabel O'Brien (Greenwood); and his sisters, Laurine Flitcroft, Bernice Sequin and Geraldine Barr.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn A. O'Brien; his children, Todd M. O'Brien of Potsdam, NY, Terry E. O'Brien of Buffalo, NY and Tanya M. Sala (Jamie Barkley) of Potsdam, NY; and his grandchildren, Troy O'Brien, Trevor O'Brien, Cara O'Brien, Tanner O'Brien, Aaron Sala and Paige Sala.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home (117 N Massey St, Watertown, NY 13601). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harold's memory to the Northpole Fire Department.
