The memory of Helen G. Chisholm of Watertown, New York, who passed away on July 28, 2025 at the age of 102, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Helen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence J. Gartland and Lena Gartland (Schell); her son-in-law Timothy Reed; and her brother Roger J. Gartland. She is survived by: her daughter Ellen M. Moran; and her grandchildren, Ryan Moran (Courtney) and Eric Moran (Stephanie). She is also survived by one niece and one nephew; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cummings Funeral Service (214 Sterling St, Watertown, NY 13601). A prayer will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Cummings Funeral Service, Inc. (214 Sterling St, Watertown, NY 13601). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Family Church (129 Winthrop St, Watertown, NY 13601).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's name may be made to Holy Family Church, 129 Winthrop St. or Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St., both in Watertown, NY 13601.
