It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph W. Coughlin of Watertown, New York, who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Montegomery Coughlin and Irene M. Lynch Coughlin; his sons, Michael and Stephen F.; and his brother James M. (Elizabeth Coughlin).
He is survived by: his children, Mary Rose Sheldon (Eric), Patrick M. (Dawn Bartlett), Joseph W. Jr. (Jeanette) of Sand Springs, OK, Irene M. Stapleton (Kevin) of Greensboro, NC and Shawn C. of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations in Joseph's name may be made to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 320 W. Lynde St., Watertown, NY 13601.
