She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Wheeler (Grieco) and Willis B. Wheeler; her husband Ralph Van Wormer; her grandchildren, Rebecca and Jeremiah; and her son-in-law Allen Benway.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Maureen), James (Leslie), Michael (Gina), Mary (Robert), Karen Van Wormer-Benway and Paul (Birgitt); and her sister-in-law Edna Wheeler (Gordon). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
