He was predeceased by : his parents, Miles Gardner and Helen Gardner (Sharp); his wife Mae Gardner; his grandson Billy Stetson; and his brother-in-law Jim Swan.
He is survived by : his daughters, Christine Gardner (Aaron Jewett) of Watertown, NY and Robin Stetson (John) of Waterville, NY; his sister Janet Swan of Henrietta, NY; his grandchildren, Nicole Lavere of Watertown, Savanna Groover of Colorado, John Jewett of Watertown, Todd of Waterville, NY and John Stetson of Waterville, NY; and his nephews, Jim Swan Jr. of Rochester, William Swan of Rochester and John Swan of Rochester. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
