He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert George and Mary Louise Tenney (Phelps); his brother Terry Tenney; and his nephew Aaron Tenney. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Limoges; his children, Christopher Scribner (Corinna) of Clay, NY, Heather Burke of Watertown, Jennifer Stevens (Sean) of Watertown and Crystal Tenney (Eric Wagar) of Watertown; his sister Robin Tenney of Texas; his sister-in-law Sharon Tenney of Watertown; and his pet Syd. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Robert's memory may be left to the American Cancer Society.
