Roger L. Putnam Obituary

Roger L. Putnam, 72, of Bugby Apts., Washington St. died Thursday at the Samaritan Medical Center where he had been a patient since April 17th. Mr. Putnam was born October 16, 1939 in Watertown to the late William C. and Marion R, (Lashaw) Putnam. He attended school in Watertown and later served in the United States Air Force from 1956-1957. Mr. Putnam worked for many years at Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse. Mr. Putnam enjoyed collecting horse figurines. He is survived by a brother Wendell C. Putnam of North Carolina and two sons by a previous marriage. Two sisters Barbara Putnam and Patricia A. John died before him. There are no calling hours or funeral. Burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery in Watertown at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.
