He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Sauter and Grace Kline Sauter; his wife Shirley J. Dillenback; his children, Christine Milligan (Frank) of Geneva, NY, Thomas Sauter (Grace) of Wanakena, NY, Kathryn Hopseker (Timothy) of Brownville, NY and Linda Velto (Bill) of Cary, NC; his grandchildren, Maureen McCollum, Sean Britton-Milligan, Emily Sauter, Claire Sauter, Sarah Hopseker, Angela Hopseker, Alex Velto and Margaret Velto; his great grandchild Olivia Veomett; his sisters-in-law, Lucille Sauter of Lowville, NY and Carolyn Marlowe (Corky) of Glen Park, NY; and his siblings, Mary, Gustave and Donald. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
