He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Shelmidine and Janice Williams Shelmidine. He is survived by: his siblings, Douglas Shelmidine (Susan), Terry Lynn Shelmidine, Kathy L. Shelmidine (Mickey Plumpton), Julia Austin (Michael) of Lakeland, Fla and Todd Shelmidine; and his stepmother Donna Shelmidine. He is also survived by nephews, 2 "perfect" nieces, several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carpenter Stoodley Funeral Home (7883 NY-289, Belleville, NY 13611). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Belleville United Methodist Church (8123 NY-289, Belleville, NY 13611). A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the Woodside Cemetery.
