He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel P. Thomas (Fairand) and Clarence Thomas; his wife Nancy M. Beach; his son Stanley Jr. (Carrie Merritt); his grandson Richard Aldrich Jr.; and his siblings, Joseph, Clarence, Harold, David, Florence, Rosemary and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Porter (Raymond), Cindy Aldrich, Vickie Parker (Robert) and Joseph Thomas (Naomi). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
