With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sue E. Silsby of Watertown, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert LaVancha and Gladys LaVancha; her husband Bernard Silsby, Sr.; her sons, Bernard Silsby, Jr. and Jason Silsby; her siblings, Butch LaVancha, Carolyn Smith and Marlene Rabetoy; her granddaughter Chelsea Stewarts; and her mother-in-law Marjorie Perrotta.
She is survived by: her children, Nicole Silsby and Jacob Silsby (Tonya); her sisters, Pat LaVancha, Pam Vollmer (Mick) and Deb Stuckey (Jerry); and her sisters-in-law, Barbara McCabe and Brenda Lunderman. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home (632 State St, Watertown, NY 13601). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sackets Harbor American Legion.
