He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Giles, and Florence Walti Giles, Sr.; his son Brian Giles; and his grandchildren, Jack Giles (Catherine), Edward Giles, Kirk Angello, Kylie Wood and Gabriella Angello.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Giles; his children, Michael (Mary), Dawn Angello (Chris) and Sarah Smith; and his brother Clarence Giles, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
