He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Gerald and Doris Isabelle Barkley (Beebee); his wife Sharon Barkley (Witherell); his siblings-in-law, Maurice and Doris Witherell; his siblings, Kathy Barkley, Norman Barkley and Ronald Barkley; and his siblings-in-law, Ricki Barkley, Donna Witherell, Robert "Bob" Witherell and Claude "Buck" Culbertson.
He is survived by: his stepson Scott Witherell of Watertown; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Royal, Ivy, Kirra, Kinleigh, Memphis, Skyler, Hunter and Uriah; his siblings, Sharon Culbertson of Antwerp, Judy Hickman (Charles) of North Carolina and Terry Barkley (Amy) of Carthage; and his sister-in-law Molly Barkley of Carthage.
