He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Storey and Beatrice Storey (Hamlin). He is survived by: his children, Wayne A. Story, Jr. (Renee) and Martha Fulton (Dan); his close friend Jen Brown; his grandchildren, Katie Thomas (Todd), Samantha Sumner (Mike) of Crescent City, FL, Taylor Storey and Sol Korea; his great grandchildren, Gavin and Kyla Jo; and his grandson Joe Fulton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
