He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Thomas and Emily Thomas (Doolen); his wife Mona Thomas; his daughter Angel; his brother Dale; and his nephew David Taylor.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth Thomas (Deanna), Douglas Thomas, Sr., Beverly Thompson (Charlie), Maureen Lavancha, Karen Taylor and David Thomas; his stepdaughters, Patricia Mandigo (Michael) and Antonia Ventiquattro-Bailey (Jeffrey Turck); and his nephew James Taylor (Heidi). He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home (518 State St, Carthage, NY 13619). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Brookside Cemetery (22527 Cook Rd, Watertown, NY 13601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
