Andrea Hughes Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Andrea Hughes (Watervliet, New York). Andrea, born on March 25, 1972 in Mechanicville, New York, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Marx and Peggy Marx (Van Wert); her granddaughter Savanna; her husband Paul E. Hughes, Jr.; her children, Shelbie E. Hughes of Watervliet, Katlynn S. Hughes (Devin Smith) of Averill Park and Stephy Mosso Varvel-Hall of North Carolina; her brother Eric Marx (Carol) of Gansevoort; her mother-in-law Ellen R. Hughes (late Paul Sr.) of Watervliet; her brother-in-law Daniel Hughes (Meredith); and her nieces and nephews, Spencer, Nathan Marx, Hunter and Heyden Hughes.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (2013 Broadway, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
