We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Barry C. Sample of Albany, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Barry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Lake-Sample; his daughter Serwa Sample-Adams; his son-in-law Corey Adams; his sister Jeanne Wilson; and his nephews, Jason Wilson and Gary Wright. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barry Sample's memory to the Bakari Lake-Sample Scholarship at Macedonia Baptist Church, 26 Wilson Avenue, Albany, NY 12205.
