With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cara O'Brien of Watervliet, New York, who passed away on January 31, 2026 at the age of 38. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Roger Sluus; her stepfather Joseph Molnar; her brother Darryl Sluus; and her grandparents, John and Joan Skiba.
She is survived by: her mother Judith Molnar; her daughter Alison O'Brien of Amsterdam, NY; her siblings, Ryan Sluus (Courtney) of Rotterdam, NY, Diana Sluus of Watervliet, NY and Veronica Pluckrose (Mark) of Wynantskill, NY; her stepmother Tammie Sluus of Hudson Falls; and her cousin Amanda Skiba of Watervliet. She is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
