Carmen Torre Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Torre (Watervliet, New York), who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carmen had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Carmen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nuncio C. Torre and Mary Torre (Zimak); and his wife Dorothy Ann Torre (Russell). He is survived by: his sibling Shirley A. Sciotti (late Joseph) of Latham; his sister-in-law Joan Torre (late Joseph) of Cohoes; and his friend Walter Babeyko of Maplewood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
