She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Plew and Marilyn Plew (Brayman); and her siblings, Mary and Bill. She is survived by: her husband Gary R. Packard; her daughter Heather M. Packard (Cody Stevens); her grandson Cyrus Sharpe; her siblings' children, Sherry (William), Calvin (Heather), Richard (Liz), April, Billy, Amandia Carr and Deborah Latham; her great-niece Sarah "Sarah Bear" Carr; and her siblings, Donald, David, Liz, Joann, Barbara, Danny, Jimmy and Marilyn.
