She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shepard and Lillian Carlisle Shepard of Poestenkill; and her siblings, Marilyn Tapler of Florida and William Shepard of Poestenkill. She is survived by: her husband William E. Carlson; her daughter Suzanne Mandel (Richard) of Fishers, IN.; her sister Jacqueline LaBounty (Joseph) of Clifton Park; her grandchildren, Carli (Cedrych), Zachary and Grace Mandel; and her sibling's children, MaryJune Mahoney (David), Robin Rifenburg (Paul), Bill LaBounty (Lynn) and Lance LaBounty (Pam).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (2013 Broadway, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Poestenkill (772 NY-351, Poestenkill, NY 12140).
